Join the Club!
Being part of the Junior Giraffe Club (JGC) is an opportunity like no other. If you are passionate, love and want to protect giraffes, this is the club for you!
Membership is for kids up to 18 years of age from nations and cultures all over the world with a passion for giraffes and giraffe conservation. We meet monthly to learn about giraffes in the wild and in captivity, the challenges that giraffes face, meet with giraffe zookeepers, rangers and scientists in the field along with many other fun activities.
We are looking for members who want to participate in giraffe-based activities such as writing a poem or story, taking pictures, observation fieldwork (on your next trip to the zoo), generating conservation ideas, creating awareness about giraffes, raising funds for conservation ideas, etc.
Dr. Anne Innis Dagg, the world's first "giraffologist", attends the meetings and serves as an inspiration to all members.
