World Giraffe Week Poster

Hi Everyone! My name is Mariana and I am a member of the Junior Giraffe Club! I created a poster for World Giraffe Week (June 21-25). This important celebration starts on the longest day of the year in the northern hemisphere, June 21st, and the goal is to raise awareness about giraffe conservation.

Did you know giraffes are vulnerable to extinction? If you want to make your own posters and creations to raise awareness, send your picture (along with your first name and age) to Mary Dagg and we’ll post it on the JGC website. Don’t forget to display your poster so that your family, friends and neighbors can see it, too! Although World Giraffe Week is over, the giraffes need our help all year long, so keep spreading the word and sending you submissions in!
