Virtual Rangers

Members of the Junior Giraffe Club enjoyed becoming virtual rangers, watching animals LIVE (in real time!) in the beautiful African bush using Wildlife Watch.

JGC member Rebecca recorded notes and observations while watching. She said “If not for homework, I think I would have stayed on for hours! It was very enjoyable.” She used the internet to help identify what she was seeing - waterbuck, impala and an Egyptian goose.

JGC member Emerson told us he watched for 52 minutes and saw two elephants!

Of course, there were amazing giraffe sightings as well…
